Hello Juliette and Everyone!
Oh yes. There are several more countries within Europe...For example,
French-Switzerland, German-Switzerland and in Belgium it is both
French-Belgium and Flanders...Plus Denmark from 1982-1988 and
Norway...and of course the USA (New Mexico) and other countries have
had programs teaching Deaf children over the years, such as Saudi
Arabia and South Africa...Here are some countries...visit their web
pages to read about their programs...Spain has classes for teaching
Deaf aduts, and Denmark uses SignWriitng to teach interpreters and
parents of Deaf children...so not all countries teach Deaf
children...there is a wide variety of ways to teach and use
SignWriting...The purpose of this SignWriting List is to provide a
place for sharing...so I hope the teachers from different countries
will share your methods of teaching... Many of these web pages share
games, literature and teaching experiences...lots to read!!
