No problems about posting this to the List, Lucy. It is good for all
of us to see the stress that everyone experiences in today's world!
When I lived and traveled in Europe back in the 1970's and 1980's I
never had a laptop computer to lose! I can imagine that is very
difficult, if everything is stored there.
A few years ago, the city of San Diego, where I live, was burning
from wild fires. We live in a desert that is close to the ocean, and
there are fires every autumn because of intense heat and lack of
rain. Over 2000 homes burned within two days, and my home was
close...we were lucky...but after that bad experience, I learned to
back up all of hard drives onto fire-proof external hard drives that
are small enough physically that I can grab them in my arms and run,
in case of a fire or earthquake...so we don't lose all our data...
So you might want to backup your files...or perhaps you did? I bet
you did...and that would be great...smile...
Kathleen's report will be very helpful for your work so this weekend
I will do the posting...Thank you, Kathleen and Ingvild and Stefan
for all your hard word documenting the Symposium...
