Starting to create IWMA symbols in SVG

Back in July, Trevor wrote to the SignWriting List on the issue of
converting all of the symbols in the IMWA to vector graphics, which
includes TrueType, Postscript and SVG formats (see excerpt above).
Vector graphics will make the symbols in SignPuddle and SignBank look
better...For example, the diagrams in Stefan's new book, and in the
Parkhurst's textbook, are done with True Type, and True Type, if I
understand it correctly, is a form of vector graphics. So is SVG. And
Steve tells me that SignPuddle can use an SVG version of the IMWA
someday, which will make our circles look perfect!
The current version of the IMWA is version 1.2. It includes 26,261
bitmap images in PNG format.
I am now working on a new version of the IMWA, version 1.3. I hope to
have it complete in January 2006. Version 1.3 will include additional
symbols plus every existing symbol (all 26,261) will be formatted
based on the following format (see attached file)....continued next
