LESSONS in SignSpelling continued...
So I imagine the Position of Contact as the CENTER of a Movement- 
Universe.

3. Which arrow do I want?
If the movement is straight UP, I then choose the UP arrow, getting  
rid of the other arrows in the wheel, but I keep the UP arrow in the  
same spatial-relationship to the CENTER as it was when all the other  
arrows were there. The UP arrow, in other words, is always placed  
ABOVE the CENTER of the sign, pulling it UP:
