No, I am afraid, not. This is an upgrade for the older Java versions  
1.3.1 and 1.4.2. Perhaps they just contain Apple's bugfixes.  
SignWriter Tiger uses version 1.5 aka Java 5 Tiger. Installing the  
upgrade won't hurt, however.
