Captioning Sign Videos with SignWriting

Dear SignWriting List!
James Short, one of our Board Members, is a captioning expert. He  
started a new web site called Harkle, that helps people search for  
videos that have captions on them:

Steve Slevinski programmed the search engine that James is using on  
Harkle.com...

If you go to http://www.harkle.com and search for Deaf, you will find  
some of our videos...smile...


Today James and I worked on captioning the video Goldilocks and the  
Three Bears, signed in ASL by Darline Clark Gunsauls, in  
SignWriting....so it will be an ASL video captioned in written ASL.

In a few weeks I hope we will have the complete video captioned, but  
right now I can post small clips of it, and I might do that to show  
the TeachASL List the writing of classifiers and so forth...

Once I post a few messages to the TeachASL List regarding writing  
classifiers, I hope that other ASL signers who know SignWriting will  
give assistance to anyone on the TeachASL List who seems  
interested...because I am not a teacher of ASL myself...

Smile...I am grateful for everyone's team work...Couldn't do without  
you!
