Hi Cristina P. Pereira,

My name is Jessica, and I saw this e-mail you sent concerning composed
signs. And I was wondering if you could help me. I am living here in
Esteio-RS-Brasil, and I am trying to learn LIBRAS. I am from the U.S. and
know Sign language, but I would like to find a teacher around this area that
could teach me Libras and interpreting. If you know of any one deaf or
hearing , Please help.

Thanks

Jessica

Subject: [sw-l] Composed signs: Libras

Hi, Val and List members!
I'm preparing SW classes to beginners, and I've seen the sign for
/church/ in Libras written as shown in pic#1.
Well...I'd ask you if writing vertically it won't be better wite it as
in the pic#2 and horizontally as in the pic#3.
It's a composed sign: /house/+/cross/.
But, in the horizontally way, how could we distinguish that it's a
composed sign?
Thank you!
