SignWriting List
July 12, 2006
Dear SW List Members!
I need your help. I do not know how to
sign the sentence below, which is
supposed to go on a tombstone...Is there
someone on the List who could write this
in SignWriting in American Sign Language
for us?
Please help me!
How do we write this in ASL?
> IN GOD WE TRUST. YOU ARE IN HEAVEN
NOW. WE RESPECT AND LOVE YOU. YOU WILL
REST IN PEACE FOREVER.
I am sorry, Stephen, I am not an
interpreter and I am not sure how to
sign IN GOD WE TRUST in American Sign

He has written the symbols but we are
having difficulty getting the shapes
correct. Do have any resources on how
the written alphabet should look or can
you point me to a good resource for this?
