Rotation Arrows

So take a look at the Rotation Arrows in 
the attached diagram...How would you 
re-write them?

I understand why the J looks correct at 
first glance, but actually it needs 
another symbol to better portray that 
movement...This symbol could be used, to 
be accurate, if you flopped it, showing 
the thumb curving toward the 
chest...That wouldn't look like the J 
though...
