Hi Steve,
I think this idea is great and I think our deaf here would love to use
it to learn more SW.
Greetings from the Philippines,
Nana

My graphic didn't show up. Here it is.

Once you start dragging, the illustrations are replaced with the actual
IMWA symbol.

Hi Adam,

Just playing around, I used the pictures that Val sent to me to create a
new SignText. It's kind of fun.

If we can replace more of the symbols with illustrations it might be a
fun teaching tool.

I don't think we need all of the rotations filled in, but on the group
list, if you click on the index finger handshape, the screen looks
pretty fun.

Some of the illustrations do not have the right numbers, but this is
only a proof of concept.

You know, that might be a great help to you and to me (and anyone else
who wants to do this!) On Fridays, I will be able to sit at the computer
with a webcam and take snap shots and maybe short "videos" of myself. I
will take a few symbols and do what I think that they mean. Val, you can
say yes or no to the pictures. I will then know if I am doing it right
or not. You will have some photos (or somebody else who wants to take it
up so that Val doesn't have to take more on her load) to put on the web
as examples of what the symbols mean visually. And if anyone else wants
to do this (or already has some) then we can get it to where us visual
people have a resourse to look at all in one place. What do you say?
