There is no hard and fast rule, the situation of a vista with many hills is just one such scene which is possible to write, but would have a highly inadequate spoken translation.

  That's interesting, because such a rule was adopted for some of the Signed Polish nouns and verbs but the motion is done once for a noun, and twice for a verb. In PJM, there is no rule for the motion in verbs and nouns, and many signs may be modified, for example, if you have reached a summit and now watching a wide panorama of mountains, you'll use many motions to "depict" the mountains.
