new sign

I didn't see anything like a 'late' wrist movement... that would have
made sense to me, and this didn't, which is why I asked about it. I
will keep my eye out for this sign again, to see if I saw it wrong, or if
it was signed sloppily, or what... In case its my writing at fault here
(those twists and rotations get me every time!), it starts just like more,
then the dominant hand (right in this person's case) drops away and opens
to a five hand palm down, just like the movement for 'expensive.'

hmm. You may have something there Adam, I will ask my friends.

I was thinking the same as Stuart and Charles, but then I was thinking
about it on my ride to work. Could it be possible that there is a down
wrist flex at the end of the sign? That would mean that the sign would
be a centralized compound sign for "more late". That would have the
same symantic meaning of your context understanding of "too late".
That's just my two cents worth. I would rewrite the sign, but I am on
my phone so I can't. :-( well, for what it's worth I hope this helps
out. Gotta go.
