SignWriting List
September 5, 2006
Hi Kim and Shane!
Sorry I didn't answer Shane's question earlier...
This is exactly why I suggested that I create a SignWriting Shop on
the web now, where others can post their SignWriting publications for
sale. Our SignWriting Shop is setup to accept Euros because it is on
PayPal. Then I can transfer the funds in American dollars to Kim,
through PayPal, and I know Kim has a PayPal account now, so that is
perfect. So any SignWriting merchant who has a PayPal account is
welcome to work with me to post their products on our SignWriting
Shop. My non-profit organization will take a percentage of the sales
revenue, and there is not very much money coming in from sales to
date, but you never know...it could build. But more important, this
method makes it possible for you to receive your money, Kim, without
you having to be a bank yourself calculating Euros or Yen!
One point though...Shane will need to use a credit card to purchase
on the SignWriting Shop...PayPal accepts Master Card, Visa, American
Express and Discover Card I believe...
Val ;-)
PS. I hope to have the SignWriting Shop ready like this, October 1st...
I will keep you informed!
