Hello Charles!

Adam prepared a document for you (thank you, Adam!), with screen
captures, showing how to change your keyboard from typing English
alphabetic characters, to typing Portuguese characters...in Windows
XP. You can also do this on other versions of Windows, including
Windows 98 and later...

How to Change your Keyboard to Other Languages in Windows XP
http://www.signwriting.org/archive/docs5/sw0477-Change-Languages-
WinXP.pdf

Your physical keyboard will all of a sudden type in the way they type
in other countries....it is wonderful software that is built into the
operating system of your computer...most people do not realize that
you can change from typing Portuguese to Italian to Chinese etc, on
the fly...by following the instructions above...

And as Stuart mentioned, it is also possible on the Mac and other
computers...

So no need to paste words from other documents...just change your
keyboard to another language...

Val ;-)
