Hi Stefan!
Thanks for your good comments, and thanks to Charles too ;-)

And I thought of the two-handed sign issue too, for the ten handshape
that has the white palm (the sign top right)...that could be either
left or right hand...so you are right that could be mis-read without
the movement arrow...good point...

I am glad to see you like the first one, Stefan and Charles...that
would make it easier since we are used to that writing...I actually
like the bottom right one too...I don't think that can be confused
with two handed signs...

So...Since I am doing the layout for the publications of the Bible
John 1-7, Cat in the Hat, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella this autumn,
I think I will leave it to the writers of each document to check my
page numbers to see if they like the way I wrote them, and if they
request changes then I will make them, so that each publication has
the author's style of writing, not only for the document itself, but
for the page numbers as well...

Here are some ASL numbers written with two handshapes...we have
written them this way for a long time...I don't think they look like
two handed signs in these cases...I hope not...
