White Palms Overlapping is coming in ISWA 2008

Hi Charles -
We all agree with each other actually...it is only terminology that  
is coming in the way.

In the computer world, having nothing to do with the SignWriting  
world, the term "background" in computers can mean the color of the  
surrounding box behind the sign (the graphic image) itself...

So when I said background, I meant only the surrounding box around  
the sign...

Some layout artists need transparent boxes around the sign for their  
layouts, and others want white "backgrounds"...not talking about the  
signs themselves, but the paper behind the signs

Of course later on, when the new ISWA 2008 is installed, you will  
always be getting the good white palms that are not transparent...but  
that is a feature of the symbols themselves, and is not the same as  
the paper-background people can choose, which can be pink, or yellow  
or white or transparent...

It is just a matter of terminology...

We are on the same page, Charles...

And I appreciate all you are doing for SignWriting, and I appreciate  
Steve's hard work to give us so many paper backgrounds too!
