This is a charming diagram, Adam, and as far as writing from the Top  
View, let's not get into that detail right now, but I think we know  
exactly what you mean...we see the hand from the side view, and then  
the wrist twists down so the fingers point down...of course that is  
what we are writing.

That movement is a Wrist Flex in SignWriting, not a Rotation Symbol,  
which requires a change in Palm Facing...These are just terms or  
terminology which we use in SignWriting...
