March Schedule

Dear SW List Members!

I know some of you are waiting for our new software...We are running  
a little late, but we will be ready by the time of the CUNY  
Conference at the end of this month for sure...

It is good we have a deadline!

Here is my work in March:

1. First two weeks of March...I am finishing the Read-Only ASL  
dictionary for both SignPuddle 1.5 and SignBank 8.5 (around 3000-5000  
signs edited)

2. Later, this Read-Only ASL dictionary will be installed into all 5  
Puddles: PocketPuddle, Private WebPuddle, Workstation, Server and  
Online Puddle...so they all have signs that are edited, and are not  
those old ugly graphics-only signs ;-)

3. Last two weeks of March...Val works on SignBank 8.5 ...both  
dictionary data plus the SignBank Reference Manual and packaging the  
software for sale

4. CUNY Conference: March 29-31, La Jolla, California
We will have a SignWriting Software Display Table

5. SignWriting Workshop: April 1st, La Jolla, California
Teach SignWriting Software to anyone who wants to attend

After that, in April, I hope we will start the 2007 project of  
publishing lots of SignWriting Literature, including complete books  
of the Bible, lots of children's stories, and large dictionaries  
printed and published with maybe 10,000 signs, that are sorted by  
SSS...Thanks to our new software, that will be possible now -

So...now you all know what I am doing this month. I must get back to  
editing the Read-Only ASL Dictionary...I am really impressed with the  
signs you all have entered into SignPuddle in the past...and I am  
enjoying reading some of them, which are totally new signs to me!
