Woehrmann's SpeechWriting System and Bell's Visible Speech

I am happy, Stefan, that you are happy....and I am glad we have an  
English name for Mundbildschrift!

So it will become easier to explain it to English-speaking people...

And yes, as you say above, there is a definite bridge to SignWriting!

First, the symbols look similar to SignWriting Facial Expressions,  
even though you developed them further and added more and apply them  
differently...

Second, some of the symbols will be recognized by Deaf people quickly  
because they already know how to write other facial expressions in  
SignWriting, and so some people might be automatically interested in  
learning SpeechWriting because it is like an extension to the  
knowledge they already have in SignWriting...

So I believe that SignWriting and SpeechWriting can at times be  
helpful to each other...true...they do have different purposes....but  
just the very nature of deafness and signed languages shows that  
signed and spoken languages are continually intertwining...and so it  
will be the same for SignWriting and Woehrmann's SpeechWriting...

I would like to make a suggestion...

I think an article about Woehrmann's SpeechWriting should be placed  
in the English Wikipedia, and articles about both SignWriting and  
SpeechWriting should also be placed in the German Wikipedia...

What do you think?
