Background colour?

I know when I write by hand and I know the hand will overlap, I do it that way. When I don't know it (or don't think of it until I see it written), I then erase the part that is supposed to be under. (Yes, I have erased more than I should have so I just pencil in the symbols again. Ha!)

That's what I'd like to see, Stuart, but I know that would be hard to program for so many possible combinations of colours. (Have you seen how many colours they have now in ColumnMaker??!! Wow!!!)
By the way, Val, how do you make the overlap clear when you're writing by hand? Do you write the "top" hand first, and then fit the "bottom" hand around the top hand? Or do you bother with that level of accuracy in your own writing? (I know I don't.)

I thought the point simply was not "white" per se, but that the background color was used. So in the case of Kelly's writing, it should be black shading inside? That achieves the same effect as what you used as an example, Valerie. :-)
Thanks,
Stuart
