Aww, I didn't want to give it away, but it is something that doesn't translate across languages well. What happens is you have a hearing party goer who says to the birthday boy, "look, it's a pair of shoes," but the birthday boy says confused, "shoes?" Then he realises that the hearing party goer confused the sign for shoes with game which are very similar. I know, it loses a lot in the translation.
