Semaine Internationale des Sourds
Date : 24 au 30 septembre 2007
Journée International des Sourds
Date : 30 septembre 2007 Le 1er congrès du monde du WFD a eu lieu en  
septembre 1951, et le choix de septembre pour célébrer la semaine et  
le jour internationaux du sourd est une commémoration de cet  
événement historique. Le but de la semaine internationale du sourd  
est de dessiner l'attention des politiciens, des autorités et du  
grand public aux accomplissements des personnes sourdes et aux soucis  
de la communauté sourde. Pendant cette semaine, des organismes des  
personnes sourdes dans le monde entier sont encouragés à effectuer  
des campagnes de l'information au sujet de leur travail, et à donner  
de la publicité à leurs demandes et demandes. Cette semaine augmente  
également la solidarité parmi les personnes sourdes et leurs  
défenseurs, et est employée à mesure qu'un temps pour stimuler de  
plus grands efforts de favoriser les droites des personnes sourdes  
dans le monde entier.

The 1st World Congress of the WFD took place in September 1951, and  
the choice of September to celebrate the International Week and Day  
of the Deaf is a commemoration of this historical event.The purpose  
of International Week of the Deaf is to draw the attention of  
politicians, authorities and the general public to the achievements  
of Deaf people and the concerns of the Deaf community. During this  
week, organisations of Deaf people worldwide are encouraged to carry  
out information campaigns about their work, and to publicise their  
demands and requests. This week also increases solidarity among Deaf  
people and their supporters, and is used as a time to stimulate  
greater efforts to promote the rights of Deaf people throughout the  
world.
