SignWriting List
March 16, 2008
Hello Kathleen and Anny!
I am sooo happy you asked a question about writing signs on the SW
List...go right ahead and ask questions.
I hope others will do the same...It is good for all signwriters,
including me...;-)
And the video is excellent, Kathleen. Thank you for that.
As you already know, the dark-dot symbol means sequential-closing-of-
the-middle-joints (fingers bend one at a time). The hollow dots mean
"opening one at a time"... see attached diagram...
And it is true that the fingers do open one at a time, and then close
one at a time...so you chose the right symbols.
There are several other ways to write the same movement, so let me
show some of those next message...continued next message...
Val ;-)
