Hello Penny and SignWriting List members...

THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful document with us, on the right of  
every deaf child to grow up using two languages...a signed language  
and a spoken language. The Conclusion on page 3 sums it up perfectly...

The document can be downloaded in multiple spoken languages, following  
the link below...but I have attached the English version to this email  
message...I hope everyone will read it.

And I hope that as time goes by, more and more educators will include  
written signed language as a part of the bilingual scenario...In the  
past, a bilingual deaf child only had written spoken language at their  
disposal...but now written signed language can also be a part of  
bilingual education...

Thanks again, Penny, and thanks also to Dr. François Grosjean for this  
important work...
