how to write big waves

Hi everyone.

thanks for your posts
I think the best is the simple "waves" written by Val.
I just wonder, if it is clear, that hands also rotates during the movement.
(first fingers are up, then forward, up again, forward)
maybe it is necessary to add "wrist" movement?
