spelling repeated movement

I see it the same way... I prefer the multiple arrows myself.

  I immediately read it as extended little motions beyond the first curve.  I'd put the arrow heads side-by-side even without the lines.

  today I thought about a second way to indicate that the same movement is performed two or three times. Just adding another arrowhead should be enough – what do you think? Would you read both spellings as the same? Sometimes this option – if possible – would allow to write the sign not so complex.
