Hi Adam, Valerie, ..
Well - as you know "Mundbilder" is a subject I studied for some years now.
It is a little bit complicated because people need to understand that there
are two different subjects -
If you are interested to write information you need for articulation -
training you can use the symbols I invented for "Speechwriting"
- in this context however we discuss the writing of the visual aspects of
lip-movements as can be seen ...
So in this case "Pah" - you just see the lips with tension and the opening
.. you cannot see "H" (smile)
If you want to you might be interested to add a symbol for explosive air out
- but I would not do that - as long as the "Pa" is the important message and
not the blowing out of a candle ...
So I would write "Pah" or "Ba" or "Pa" this way:
