Bingo for you Adam. I'd say I see hands forward much better. Then the spirals up and down make sense as the focus is more on the in and out than the up and down.

Well, with the way that I sign it as well as most of my Deaf friends, the way it is spelled is fine except maybe without the touch. Oh, and I would write the handshapes with a knuckle break as I usually see it as parallel to the floor rather than the wall. As far as the arrows go though, I agree with the way it is written.
