ASL sign for DISAPPEAR

I think that I would write disappear like this:

Or I might even do it as an in-between touch as they both seem to mean  
the same to me, while I guess you could say that technically writing  
it with the touch star would mean that it just initially touches in  
between and not while it moves out. So I would just leave that up as  
style. However, it there was a context in which you would be saying  
something like "disappeared in a blink of an eye", then I would say  
that it has to be brush as well as a tense or fast depending on they  
type of disappearing.

Charles, I can see your point about preferring to use the top view as  
it could be more clear as to where the finger is between. I don't  
really have a disagreement with that one. I read both just fine even  
still. I personally just find that the writing as I have it feels  
better to me. Again, I would just chalk that up to be style differences.

But I do have to say that it bugged me when the contact was under the  
hand and not near the area of contact. For some reason, I just feel  
that the contact has to be as close to the area of contact as  
possible. I don't know why honestly. :-)
