Wow -
This is a good plan below, Steve -

SignWriter Java, SignWriter Tiger, SignWriter Python and SWEdit (from
Brazil) all had promise and if we could revive and improve them, that
would be an amazing development...and to make keyboarding possible for
the ISWA 2008 in SignPuddle would be great as well...

Meanwhile the drag and drop method works well and is easy to learn for
most people...so I hope we can keep that as well...

SW Edit is still downloaded on the internet and used, so if that could
someday be coordinated with SignPuddle that would be used more...we
will need permission from the developers in Brazil...if we could
install the ISWA 2008 into SWEdit that would help as well...

The idea of revamping all the SignWriter programs into one
consolidated SignWriter, possibly in Python, sounds good to me... The
old SignWriter Java program was so close, but it could never print,
and then time has gone by and now the symbolset is out of date...and
SignWriter Tiger by Daniel Noelpp Ly, is still on the web, and the
source code is available for download...It too was a beautiful program
that had great promise:
