Thank you! I was starting to wonder if this had actually gone through or not... but yes, a wrist line would work to anchor them in place.

I like that creative writing, I'd put a wrist line at the beginning of each wave and it would actually be quite accurate if they are moving simultaneously and don't really move left to right but up and down only.

I know I'm coming in late to the discussion, and I realize, Val, that when everything is moving as a unit that it should be the General Arrowhead... but might this not be an exception? I see the movement starting with the left arm and ending with the right, kind of like this:
Or am I way off base here?

Subject: [sw-l] movement in LIQUID
I am struggling with how to write this sign It is a less English sign for Liquid (science- solid, liquid, gas) This writing isn't right, the movement is more complex than simple circles. They aren't alternating circles, because the hands are linked, and moving as a unit, but one follows the other. My first guess was with a figure 8 movement, but it isn't -- each hand moves in a simple circle, but the timing of the circles is what complicates things. I thought about adding a symbol for the wrist movement, but none of them seemed to fit. Help?
