Smile...

In English:

...the ankle is a joint that connects the heel of the foot (the end  
part of the foot) to the leg.

and...

...the wrist is the joint that connects the heel of the hand (the end  
part of the hand) to the arm.

So the wrist and ankles are not the "heel"....the wrist and ankles are  
joints, that can do rotation and flexing.

But the view of the heel of the foot or hand is seeing the end of the  
foot or the end of the hand...looking past the wrist and seeing the  
bump at the end of the hand

The heel of the hand is between the palm of the hand and the wrist...

The heel of the foot is between the arch of the foot and the ankle...

But enough with the English language! What matters is that we have  
choices when we write in SignWriting...
