Widest most recognised sign for Manchester is .M.C. ie just fingerspelling
the two main letters; remembering of course that this is with the two-handed
BSL fingerspelling alphabet. There may be a local indigenous sign but
typically those are only used by locals not by in-comers or visitors; to do
so can be considered very rude.
