Nepali Sign Language article: Transcriptions in SW

Dear Erika,
I'm very interested in the content of this article. Can I purchase it in
some way?

I have used signwriting as phonetic transciptions for two thesis - always
in the expressive/productive way. It would be great if more linguists
could use ISWA (signwriting) as a standard 'IPA' for sign linguistic data
- cross-linguistic comparison would be SO MUCH easier if this was the
case! I can read your data without problem also.

So now, I know there are two (you and myself) who have used signwriting
for linguistic transcriptions - it's a good starting point and I would
love to know if there are more linguistics out there who do so.

PS: you should try to use Puddle - it's advantages outweigh any small
drawbacks it has. It really is good even for data transcriptions - and may
save you ALOT of time in the long run. I was reluctant when I started
using it, but now I honestly CAN'T imagine any work in sign
language/lingusitics without it!

Maria
