Hello Jonita, Ron and SW Listers -
Thanks for this question. When we write "facing the front corners" you
darken the side that is closer to the reader. The reader is standing
behind the signer. So if you turn to the front left corner, your left
ear is darkened...
These are new symbols that are in the ISWA 2008.
Please see the attached diagram...Many thanks to Steve and Dianne
Parkhurst for their excellent illustrations...These illustrations are
used in the book SignoEscritura from Spain, but I have now added the
new ISWA symbols to show you which side is darkened...
