The Sign Spelling Sequence is not generated automatically. The writer chooses how one visualizes the signs. It's a dictionary sorting program like any other. There are generalized rules, but they can be chosen differently. I regularly go through the dictionary looking for signs that have not been analyzed and putting in the sequence. For example, a left-handed reader would write them differently as the primary hand is opposite the standard and they might lay it down first. Where one puts the facial contact when the starting point is contact has often been a puzzle for me.

Your sign for Deaf I would break into two sequences. The first would be the right hand and its contact point with the face, then the movement to the two hands touching. It really is a merger of two signs, not just one sign.

Okay, I see..but I would write the sequence as:

I thought the SignSpelling Sequence is generated automatically. One just types signs using SignText and submits them to
SignPuddle. Then the analyze button gives all the data needed?
