spending the week with Valerie

Hi all-
I just thought I'd let you know that Valerie has been kind enough to
let me visit her for a week, to work on my SignWriting and interview
her about the history of the script. It has been really fun for me to
finally meet her and see the place from which she does all this work.
She's also arranged for me to meet Lucinda O'Grady Batch and Karen
Emmorey later this week.
I'm working on an article about SignWriting, which will be so much
better for having had this experience!
