  Valerie,
While you wait for Otilia's reply, I can tell you that Moodle is an 
internet teaching environment, where classes are setup online through 
either your own server or a server that offers that service.   Several 
classes can be offered at the same time and the students would sign up 
for whatever class they desire.   There are different ways it can be 
setup with free and commercial themes.
