Hello Charles and Gan!

I agree completely! Gan's glove is an excellent way to show how SignWriting was developed, based on the human experience showing finger direction - finger directionality is the basis of SignWriting - finger direction is meaningful and very important - and the Parkhursts are a major part of SignWriting and I am so happy to work with them - I am grateful for their beautiful books, which we publish here as you know - and Gan's work is highlighting the fact that all SignWriting, since 1974, has been built upon the idea that we are able to write what we see and feel - imagine putting on a glove and signing and the SignWriting appears written for you, on the computer screen - it is an amazing development and I will write to the University to see if we can get permission to show perhaps one photo from the video or something like that - I will keep you informed - Thank you, again, Gan -  I appreciate it, that you took the time, to write this message to the List - Best of luck with your new endeavors - Val ;-)
