SignWriting List
August 17, 2012
Hello Dali Balti from Tunisia, and Steve and Diane Parkhurst in Spain...
Dali Balti has translated several chapters of the book: "A Cross-Linguistic Guide to SignWriting", by Steve and Dianne Parkhurst, into Chinese!
Dali sent me the chapters and I tried to post them to the SignWriting List, but the book is too large and I will need to post it on the web -
WOW, Dali, what an amazing gift and accomplishment -
This is the first SignWriting book that I know of, translated into Chinese - Is it Mandarin or Cantonese? I assume Mandarin...
I will post this on our web site:
SignWriting Lessons
http://www.SignWriting.org/lessons
I need to update this web section anyway, since there are also other new textbooks written, and new videos as well -
So this is welcome news -
Many thanks once again, and thanks also, for teaching SignWriting in Tunisia -
Val ;-)
