Hello Dali from Tunisia and everyone on the SignWriting List -
I LOVE this message, and the attached diagrams that you sent me privately, Dali, showing the most beautiful SignWriting in an exam - I do SO much want to share the SignWriting work with the SignWriting List later, when you feel ready…
Dali asked me in his message below not to do that, since it would give the answers away to his students before he got the results from the exams…but later you will see the lovely SignWriting work they are doing in Tunisia - Thank you Dali, for this report on your progress - keep us informed!
Val ;-)

> Hello dear Val;
>
> After more than two weeks teaching SW for Tunisian Sign Language translators, we made only 5 units of the book you sent me. I am very happy with this achievement, I discovered that it was a little bit difficult for them, I do not know how I could learn it by myself 4 years ago!!! hhhhh, I am thankful to you first, and to everyone in the SW list who were all the time helpful and ready to answer me back!
> Here I attached 5 pages for the exam my students are going to pass next Monday, I did not post it in the list, because I feared that my students read it… hhhhhh
> I just wanted you to be up to dated with my students SW level!!! I will also send you some of their activities in class.
> There is a SW text made up of three pages; 1, 2 and 3. which they have to translate into Arabic or French.
> Page 4, there are 5 questions in SW relating to the text, and the answer must be in SW too.
> Page 5, there are different handshapes which must be written in SW, and the second exercice is a mixture of handshapes and SW, and the students have to put them in order; every handshape with its appropriate SW.
> page 6, there are some pictures for LSF signs, and I made a small suare in which students have to write that sign in SW....
> I will be very happy to have your feed back
