My article "Signwriting Terminology" hasn't been published anywhere else so
the URL would be the way to go. 
Discussions on the  subject tend to contain misconceptions, and I felt it
would be beneficial to present the perspective of a trained linguist who
worked on that area.
Since I don't have access to the journal I can't guess if they would want
it, but it doesn't contain any empirical research, it just explains how
these terms are used by the experts.
