I experienced the same - that it seems to be a problem to do this copy and paste easily - smile . My work around for this is to save the single lane as a single .png-file. Afterwards you can insert this graphic into a word-document.
Nevertheless I am looking forward to learn more about the new option Steve is going to offer...
All best
Stefan

Hi Val and Stever,
I just went to try the SVG format and you're right it looks wonderful! I
can see that there is a problem with copying and pasting in SVG.
However I guess I have just realised that I have a problem copying and
pasting the usual png format into Word 7. For some reason I am unable to
copy directly into Word column by column. I can paste into the Paint
program but not Word. It's not urgent for me to solve right now as I'm
working on other things, and it's not a huge problem either because I can
still copy from Paint and then into Word 7. However if I had a very long
piece of work to transfer to Word it would facilitate if I could paste
directly into Word - and anyway if its possible to paste using SVG with
Steve's converter then that's even better.
I can't check the DocumentMaker just now - racing against the clock with
deadlines - but once I'm writing longer texts will surely do so.
Really impressed with the SVG format! I really didn't realise that update
in SignPuddle 2.0 - probably my fault as I have to scan emails and not
able to follow all discussions on the list in depth.
thanks for your help
