Terminology - your advice?

Hello Ingvild and Gerard!
Thank you for your answers below. They are clearly understood explanations. Please see attached. It is a screen capture of the top of our web page: www.SignWriting.org/lessons

Can you see where it says: "Lessons on Web"….?  Does that mean to you, that you will be visiting web pages to learn something? It is not a "course online" that is interactive… but instead web pages that show symbols…Originally I had "Lessons Online" but that started to worry me -
