SignWriting List
August 24. 2014

Hello Theresa!
Thank you for asking. Yes, there are different ways to handle the email from the SignWriting List…

First, here is the place where you can sign on and off the SW List:

Go to this web page:
TO CHANGE YOUR SW LIST SETTINGS...
http://listserv.valenciacollege.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=SW-L&A=1

1. You can choose “NoMail” setting on that page, that will still keep you on the List, abut you will need to read the messages in the Archives because you will not be getting the messages in your email box…and you can always switch back to normal mail anytime…

OR….

2. You can create a new email address that will only be used for the SignWriting List and then sign up under that new email address, and then once that is working, sign off of your original email address that was getting cluttered…

OR…

3. Keep the same email address but use your email software features to funnel or re-direct all messages that have the SW-L header into a special folder..

I hope this helps -

Val ;-)

I love reading it I just see too many...especially I was on a summer break and tomorrow is my first day back to work.... it is time consuming to clean it up... what can I do?

Steve’s Presentation 19 was about Eduardo’s TrueType font, and how it is unusual and special and so close to being perfect and yet it still needs some technical work that only certain kinds of experts can help us with…we are still looking for that expert and we hope to find him or her ;-)
