Symposium late paper submission

Hi André -
I am glad you asked this…The SW Symposium 2014 Proceedings book will not be printing everyone’s full-length papers. If we did that, we would be publishing thousands of pages and I don’t believe it is necessary since the full papers are already posted on each presenter’s Presentation page.

Of course, if others want their full papers published in the Proceedings, we certainly can talk about that more…

Here is what I had envisioned ...

The Proceedings will include a small history, in the beginning, of how the SignWriting Symposium began, and a little about SignWriting, and then the book will have around 6 pages per Presentation, including the Abstract, some diagrams from the slides and videos, other smaller documents, and the author’s bios and photos, and contact information. At the end of the book we will have information about other SignWriting reference materials, and possible future Symposiums.

So the SWS 2014 Proceedings still may be a 300 page book - which is enough for right now - and thinking about this, since I also must do grant writing, it may be until October before it can be completed - but we all need it, so it will happen.

Regarding your large books that you are writing, André, some are already available for download on your Presentation 20 web archive, and you can send me your next publication any time you wish to post there as well, and I will post it for you. … and there is no deadline, no rush:
