CALL FOR AUTHORS: The Deaf Studies Encyclopedia/SAGE Reference

Hello Val and all,
The problem with an encyclopedic article is that it have to be "complete",
so we can't just speak about SW. It have to be something on all the
writting systems made for representing SL (Bébian, Stokoe, HamNosys,
SignFont, SignWriting... just to say some of them), for transcription
purposes or for writing purposes. So it will be a bigger work than (as I
read on your answer) you imagin.
Maybe if they think to do a part on writing systems we can do a sub-part of
the article speaking about SW....
Maybe we can write to the authors and ask if it's possible for them to ad a
part on SL representation... and then send a paper about SW. But if we make
this then we will be "obliged" to submitt something... is there some of us
that directly knows the authors? So that we can "test the playground"
(italian expression)
This said... in my opinion SW as nothing to do in the part "phonetic",
beacause is like saying that the explanation on latin alphabet have to be
in the phonetic part of a french language encyclopedia...
