Torso and upper body tilt symbols

Hello, I have 2 questions:
 
1) Are the 3 following symbols equivalent?
 
   
2) In Sign animation, assuming that smaller symbols represent a movement forward and larger symbols represent a movement backward (from the signer perspective).  Then which of the following is correct (or none is correct)?
