Thank you, Steve, for announcing the start of SignMaker 2015!

Steve has been working for a long time, developing the SignWriting TrueType Fonts, that make this possible. And now the TrueType Fonts are working with a new updated and completely re-designed version of SignMaker. In time SignText will be integrated and then SignPuddle will be updated with the new features so working between the programs will feel like the same program only on different platforms.

In the past, SignPuddle was dependent on a server of some kind, but now with the new software, and the TrueType Fonts, we can work without a server, either on our computer desktop or on iPhones and iPads. We can also work online too, so it is the best of both worlds.

In time we will find a solution for Android and Chrome as well, but the Google-related products have some hurdles at the moment…So right now it is for all Apple devices and Safari and Firefox...

Last week Adam tried SignMaker 2015 on his iPhone and I installed it and used it on my iPad Mini. I have also used it on my computer, on the Safari or Firefox web browsers.

Before you can use it, you need to install the SignWriting TrueType Fonts on your device. Installing the fonts on computers should be easy, because there are easy-install programs for installing fonts on computers. But installing the TrueType Fonts on the iPhone or iPad, takes a little extra step…We will provide the instruction for anyone interested in trying…

Once the SignWriting TrueType fonts are installed it is so much fun!

Thank you, Steve, and thanks to everyone for giving feedback -

Val ;-)
