[Sw-l] [SPAM] wave diagonal path

Ahah!! So this winding path is going on a slant outward and winding RIGHT and LEFT not in and out? THAT would explain why there are always bars or dots. There is an overall slant outward for the ones with the bars, and an overall slant for the ones with the dots but what changes is the right and left plane.
So in the first one, I might be showing someone moving up a winding path up a hill. In the fourth one, the same person is coming back down the hill toward me. Do I have that right?
Thank you, Adam!
Rachel

Actually, there is no going back and forth with these symbols. Imagine you have these symbols printed on a poster board that is based at your waist and going upward at a 45º angle. So for the first symbol, you would be moving along a “windy road going uphill” sort of a path.

Hello again everyone,
Today my question is about the wave diagonal movements. They look like this:

I know that the little bars mean that the curve is moving away from the signer and the dots mean that the curve is moving toward the signer. And these are curves that are in the side plane, like when you sign FUTURE.
So, I think the first symbol says that I start near my body and move out toward an imaginary viewer and then curve up and then curve back toward myself and then curve back out to the viewer and end with my hand coming toward me.
But, if this is correct, then why are there THREE little horizon bars? My description would make more sense if the symbol had a bar, then a little dot and then another barr.
Could someone invent a little story where this kind of curve would be used? Or provide a video?
Thank you!
Rachel
